Video ir paslēpts, kamēr netiek dota piekrišana trešo pušu sīkdatnēm Sīkfailu iestatījumi
BMW iX3 (2026, NA5) – German vs Chinese components German-made (~45–55%) • Main electronic “brains”: • Heart of Joy (driving dynamics controller) • Energy Master (battery controller) • Most high-voltage control electronics • BMW Operating System X (software) • Many body, safety, interior and wiring components → Germany supplies most of the intelligence, software and control hardware. ⸻ Chinese-made (~35–45%) • Battery cells (likely EVE Energy or CATL) – the single most expensive component • Displays (BOE, Tianma, AUO China plants) • ADAS for China versions via Momenta • Numerous Tier-2 electronics, sensors, plastics, and wiring subcomponents → China supplies the battery and much of the electronics hardware. ⸻ Austrian-made (~10–15%) • BMW Plant Steyr builds the complete Gen6 eDrive: • Both electric motors • The SiC inverter and power electronics → Austria builds the entire electric drive unit. ⸻ Overall balance • Germany ≈ half of total value • China ≈ 40% of total value • Austria ≈ 10–15% • Others (EU/US/Korea/Taiwan) ≈ 5–10% Но, немецкие компоненты тоже не совсем немецкие: German-made doesn’t mean 100% German-sourced When BMW says the “Heart of Joy” controller or “Energy Master” battery brain is made in Germany, it means: • Design by BMW engineers • Final assembly in a German BMW plant • Testing + integration in Germany But the electronic parts inside come from a global supply chain. ⸻ 2. Chinese subcomponents inside German-made electronics Even in premium German control units, these parts are very often sourced from China: ✔ PCB boards (printed circuit boards) 50–80% of automotive PCBs worldwide come from China. ✔ Passive components (resistors, capacitors, inductors) Most come from: • China • Taiwan • Malaysia These are used by the thousands inside a single controller. ✔ Micro-connectors & wiring sub-parts Many are made in China even if assembled into wiring harnesses in EU. ✔ Power-management ICs, sensors, small drivers China dominates a huge part of the semiconductor packaging/assembly industry. ✔ Plastic housings & thermal interface materials Often injection-molded in China for cost efficiency. ⸻ 3. What is truly German inside the “brain”? Usually these parts: • Main processor (SoC) – often NOT German (Qualcomm = U.S., Nvidia = U.S., NXP = Netherlands) • Power chips (SiC, IGBT) – often EU/US (Infineon, STMicro, Onsemi) • Software and firmware – German • System design + integration – German • Final assembly + testing – German So, the “intelligence” (architecture + software) is German, but the electronic bones and blood(components) are sourced globally. ⸻ 4. Realistic distribution inside a German-made ECU (estimate) Inside a BMW electronic control unit: • 40–50% Chinese/Taiwanese subcomponents (PCB, passives, connectors, sensors) • 25–35% European chips/modules (Infineon, ST, Bosch) • 15–25% US/South Korean/Japanese chips (Qualcomm, Onsemi, Renesas) • <5% truly made-in-Germany components • 100% German assembly & software integration This is normal for modern automotive electronics. ⸻ ⚡ 5. Why this happens The global electronics industry is structured so that: • China = high-volume, cost-efficient manufacturing of small components • Taiwan/Korea = display panels + memory chips • EU = power semiconductors, motors, safety systems • US = advanced processors, AI chips A “German ECU” is German in brain, not in atoms. ⸻ Final summary Yes — even if BMW builds the electronic “brain” in Germany, many of the internal components (PCB, capacitors, connectors, sensors, plastics) are almost certainly made in China or Taiwan. The design, software and assembly are German, but the small electronics inside are mostly Asian-origin.
